Prince William and Kate Middleton wed last April 29, 2011 at the Westminster Abbey, London, with an estimated 1,900 guests. Only 600 VIP guests were invited to the wedding breakfast hosted by the Queen at the Buckingham Palace and out of these 600 guests, only 300 were invited to the private dinner and dance at 6:00 pm hosted by Prince Charles at Buckingham.

The Prince was created by his grandmother, the Queen, as Duke of Cambridge, so his wife will automatically take the title of Duchess of Cambridge. They honeymooned at the secluded island of Seychelles two weeks after the wedding and took up residence at Anglesey, North Wales where Prince William served as search and rescue operation pilot of the Royal Air force.
